Greg Hoover, Support Analyst policyIQ
How long have you worked here?
8 years, 7 Months to be exact.
What do you do at our company?
My title is Support Analyst, but I do a little bit of everything. I help manage accounts, compile custom scripting for clients, testing, and answer support calls and e-mails to assist the product & escalate situations to the correct departments if I am unable to solve them.
What do you like to do when you're not at the office?
When I’m not at the office I’m usually at home either cooking, listening to music or relaxing playing a video game online with friends.
What are you favorite recreational activities?
During the summer I like to take my bike out to a local park (North Park) and ride around the lake and as of late try and do some more walking and exercising. I also like to go to music festivals and listen to some of my favorite artists/DJ’s play music (which has been put on halt for 2020). During the winter I try to go snowboarding either at the local resort (Seven Springs) or take a trip out west or plan a trip to a place that me or my family have never been to before.
Where is the most interesting place you have ever traveled and why?
This past winter my family and I traveled to Zermatt, Switzerland for a ski/snowboarding trip. The whole trip there was breathtaking from landing in Geneva then taking a train through the mountains to the base of Zermatt and waking up every morning having the Matterhorn mountain staring at you if you were to walk outside. The food and culture there was superb and being able to board next to glaciers was by far one of the coolest and unique experiences I’ve ever had.
What inspires you?
Music & my parents are big inspirations for me.
What would you most like everyone to know about policyIQ?
It’s a very strong, powerful and useful tool that many companies could benefit to use to help manage their data, and the people who work here are pretty fantastic !
