95% of our clients choose our managed hosting. No software or hardware is required, as users access policyIQ from their desktop Internet Explorer web browser, version 6.0 or greater. There are no unusual web browser settings or any required applets.

Each client has a unique database setup to store their data. Client databases are stored on one of our dedicated servers managed by SunGard or RagingWire, Inc, both are SAS70 Type II certified datacenters. Both providers manage our servers, provide intrusion detection and other security services, and are responsible for providing 99.9% uptime. Client data is backed up on a daily basis onsite rotated every two weeks, and a weekly basis offsite rotated every four weeks.

As we release new versions of our software, we communicate those features with you and coordinate ahead of time your upgrade time. Upgrades typically do not require any scheduled downtime to complete. We provide training and documentation for your users as necessary.

Clients manage their own user accounts – creating new accounts, resetting user passwords, and even customizing password rules. LDAP integration is an option for clients that want to integrate to their network login and password records. SSL encryption is included in each purchase.
