policyIQ offers network installation as an alternative for clients that do not desire on-demand hosted applications.

Clients are responsible for acquiring the Microsoft Windows 2000 or greater and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or greater licenses. policyIQ is written as a .NET application.

The application can run on one server, or can be separated onto two servers if desired. Clients are responsible for acquiring and supporting their own hardware. We recommend market average Pentium-compatible processors, with a minimum 2GB of memory and 10MB of free disk space for the application. Databases can grow to several gigabytes in size depending on how you choose to use policyIQ and how many files you upload.

After executing an annual subscription agreement for a set number of users, clients can download and install the application on their network. Upgrades are similarly downloaded by Clients when available. Test sites and backup sites may be installed, but the subscription license provides for only one active production site. The subscription license includes all upgrades, training, and both phone and email support (functional and technical) for your Advanced Users. User management is built into policyIQ, but can be integrated to Active Directory using LDAP for authentication if desired.
